Overlooking Strangford Lough on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, Northern Ireland, Grey Abbey House and its gardens benefit from a temperate climate which supports a plethora of unusual flora and fauna. Welcome to Angus Farm Shop   We are a boutique butcher’s shop in the heart of Greyabbey village dedicated to providing free range, high welfare meat from traditional cattle breeds and lambs.  Our emphasis is on low food miles and carbon foot print as our meat is sustainably produced on our home farm two miles from the Farm Shop on the shore of Strangford Lough.   Our beef is reared from our own suckler herd of Aberdeen Angus cross cows, and our lamb is sourced from our flock of cross bred ewes.   We make all of our own sausages and steak burgers using only the finest ingredients. Grey Abbey Bay Situated on the shores of Strangford Lough the small village of Grey Abbey has evidence of being inhabited for thousands of years.   An Archaeological study of the area discovered an ancient dugout canoe in Greyabbey Bay dated to be some 4500 years B.C. That makes it older than the pyramids of Egypt!
